The b+b is set in a quiet country location, not isolated but peaceful,
away from the madding crowds of the coast. Albatera is a busy market
town with a myriad of bars and restaurants from which to choose. The
Parque de la Huerta is a 30,000 square metre area great for discovering
established and indigenous fauna, boasting a colourful range of species.
There is a daily indoor market and a Thursday street market. Watch the
world go by from the cafe at the old casino in the main plaza where
you will also find the church of Saint James. The Parque de Montana,
mountain park, is an area worth exploring on foot or by bike from the
b+b offering magnificent views across the plains to the sea at Alicante
and down to Murcia. Four large undercover shopping malls/eating halls
